Science Hooo!

This is an adventure.

My life took a standstill for the year after I completed my undergraduate chemistry degree at Ithaca College, and I am now itching to get back into the swing of education in graduate school. Itching may be an unexpected choice of word – I’m excited for it, but at the same time, I know that grad school equals classes, teaching, independent living, hours upon hours of research, and writing. Lots and lots of writing. Maybe more writing than I’m prepared to do.

That’s where this blog comes in. It certainly wouldn’t hurt to write down some thoughts on current topics in chemistry, graduate life, and science in general. If by the end of my graduate school sentence I’m supposed to be an independent thinker, then what better way to get that thinking done and down than in the lab notebook margins?
